Vintage circa 1920's ring constructed out of solid 10k yellow gold and Vaseline glass. Vaseline glass, otherwise called Uranium glass for its colouring agent, was produced from the 1830s-1920s.This seafoam green gem has plenty of wear consistent with age and softness of glass; missing 3 corners and wear to facet junctions. The rectangular step cut stone measure 9.8mm long x 8mm wide. Stones fluoresces apple green in long wave UV and a softer chalky green in short wave UV.
Marked 10k and makers mark inside band.
Face of ring is 1.32cm long.
Size 9.75.
Weighs 4.31 grams.
