Victorian 9ct Ruby Ring
- hallmarked with 375 (9ct gold), anchor (Birmingham) and an 'x' (1897-1898)
- constructed out of solid 9ct gold and old lab created rubies
- gold in this ring is the old gold/rosy colour
- the face of the ring is set with 3 belcher set old antique cushion cut synthetic rubies measuring 4.9mm, 6.7mm, 4.8mm each
- stones have minor scratches and wear consistent with age
- one ruby is a slightly different shade and may have been a replacement?
- face of ring is 7.5mm long and rises 4.3mm off finger
- ring is a size 7ish, but it is out-of-round due to a previous sizing
- 4.7 grams
- good antique condition circa 1897/98
