Antique Victorian Gold Filled Small Forget-me-not Square Locket

Antique Gold Filled Locket
- unmarked/unsigned
- constructed out of solid brass with yellow and white gold fill
- the only visible wear to gold fill is in high wear areas such as the edges (please see pictures 3 through 6)
- this beautiful locket is in a unique square shape and features 4 white gold filled forget-me-not flowers between dotted arches along the border with a star set paste stone at the centre
- old cut stone has a small chip in its table that is only visible under close observation
- inside of the locket is one photo frame that has a window of 1.25cm x 1.25cm
- locket catch is very secure and a little difficult to open, it closes with a snap
- locket measures 2.6cm long including bail, and 1.8cm wide
- jump ring bail is not soldered shut and has an opening of 4mm
- overall good antique condition ca. 1900 with wear consistent with age
