Art Deco 10k White Gold Filigree & Paste Amethyst Cocktail Ring

Vintage circa 1930's ring constructed out of solid 10k white gold, rose and green gold appliqués, and purple glass. Ring features a mixed oval cut, purple glass stone measuring 16.2mm long x 12.1mm wide. The purple glass is claw set with at the centre of the ring with geometric patterned border. The stone has scratches and worn facet junctions typical of age and soft glass.

This beautiful ring is a classic example of the art deco aesthetic with a rose gold rose and green gold leaves adorning each shoulder of an ornate filigree setting and gallery. Patterned shoulders lead to a 1.7 mm wide band at back. Face of ring is 2.9cm long and rises 7mm off finger.

Ring is size 5.5 but is out of round so fits more like a 5.75.
