Art Deco Sterling Silver Uranium Glass Ring

Yellow Uranium Glass Ring
- marked 'STERLING' inside band
- constructed of solid sterling silver, uranium glass, and colourless glass
- ring features a bezel set, emerald scissor cut yellow stone
- stone measures 9.8mm long x 7.8mm wide
- stone is secure in setting and does not wiggle or move
- a halo of small colourless glass stones surround the yellow stone
- there is patina on the metal in the grooves around the stones giving them a darker appearance in pictures
- yellow stone is a light chalky green in short wave UV (9th photo), and a bright lime green in long wave UV (10th photo)
- colourless stones are a light chalky blue in short wave UV (9th photo), and inert in long wave UV (10th photo)
- face of ring is 1.48cm long
- ring rises 6mm off finger
- there is a pretty pattern engraved on the underside of the gallery (5th photo)
- shoulders taper to a 1.7mm band at back
- size 7.75
- excellent vintage condition circa 1930's with only minor patina on silver
