MCM White Gold Colour Change Glass Brutalist Necklace
- pendant is marked on bale/jump ring but is difficult to decipher (possibly 'DS' or 'OS') and acid tests at 14k
- chain is marked 'ITALY 333' on chain tag
- pendant is constructed out of solid 14k white gold with glass stone
- chain is constructed out of solid 8k (0.333% purity) white gold
- textured brutalist style pendant is claw set with an emerald cut colour change glass stone
- stone measures 9.92 mm wide x 11.92 mm long x 6.09 mm deep
- stone changes from light purple in daylight to light blue in fluorescent light (sadly my camera doesn't allow me to capture colour change)
- pendant measures 2.5 cm long x 1.6 cm wide and weighs 5.04 grams
- a 1.5 mm wide rectangular/squared cable chain is 17.75" long and weighs 2.88 grams
- excellent vintage condition circa 1960's
