Estate 10k Yellow Gold Colour Change Synthetic Sapphire Ring - June Birthstone

10k Syntehtic Alexandrite Ring
- marked '10K BWS' inside band
- ring is constructed out of solid 10k yellow gold with lab created colour change sapphire and genuine diamonds
- lab created (synthetic) sapphire is used as an imitation for natural alexandrite, and is commonly called synthetic alexandrite even though it is not chemically the same
- ring features a 5.1mm round mixed cut colour change gem set diagonally into centre of ring with 4 claws
- some claws show wear, but stone is tight in setting and does not wiggle
- stone changes from violet to light blue in different lighting (day light vs incandescent lighting) but unfortunately my camera won't capture any colour but violet. Sometimes the stone shows both colours at once!
- set on each side of synthetic alexandrite is a 1.4mm single cute diamond
- face of ring is 5.5mm long
- ring rises 4.6mm off finger
- band at back is 1.5mm wide
- size 6.25
- great vintage condition with minor signs of wear such as light scuffs to gold and previous sizing marks inside band
