Vintage rivère necklace consisting of 34 mixed square cut colourless crystals claw set onto links that connect at both top and bottom. Each crystal measures 6.1mm x 6.1mm. Necklace is 16" long.
Marked 'OVO PLAT' for NovoPlatin (also known as Platin/ Platinon) which was developed as a non tarnishable substitute for platinum. It also displays makers mark of an R, anchor symbol, and W for Rodi & Wienenberger of Pforzheim Germany circa 1885. This particular mark dates from 1935-1940.
Necklace is in excellent condition with no wear to crystals or plating. Minor verdigris visible with spring ring in perfect working order.
