Vintage Dead Stock Cornicello Necklace
- marked '925 Italy SSK' on chain tag
- constructed out of solid sterling silver with genuine coral
- necklace features a natural red coral branch cornicello/horn with a sterling silver cap and bail
- "Cornicello" (meaning "little horn" or "hornlet" in Italian) is a horn-shaped amulet or talisman worn in Italy, particularly in Naples, to ward off the evil eye (malocchio) and bad luck, and is also associated with good luck and fertility
- pendant measures 2.5cm long including jump ring bail, and 0.5cm wide
- coral measures 1.5cm long x 0.5cm wide
- pendant is strung on a 1.8mm wide curb link chain that is 18" in length
- necklace is in excellent dead stock (vintage never worn inventory) condition
- box pictured is not included with purchase
