Victorian Silver Chain
- marked with a lion passant on the large jump ring
- constructed of solid sterling silver with replacement base metal spring rings
- this special piece of chain was originally an Albert pocket watch chain, which has been disassembled into a single strand chain
- the large plain jump ring would of originally had a T-bar attached to it, so that it could be fastened to a vest
- the beautiful links feature quatrefoil links with round cable links in between, and fancy long rectangular links with cut-out details interspersed amongst the chain
- the sides of the quatrefoil and rectangular links have a pretty circular design
- round cable links have an almost faceted design to them
- the original clip has been replace by one antique style spring ring, and one modern spring ring. Both in working order with wear to silver plating
- chain is 13.5" long
- rectangular links measure 2.2cm long and 0.8cm wide (width of chain)
- chain is for sale As Is for either wear as a choker, or repurposed into another necklace (ie: connecting two pocket watch chains to make a longer one)
- chain is in excellent antique condition circa late Victorian period with minor wear consistent with age
- box pictured is not included with purchase
