Vintage circa 1970s stud earrings constructed of solid 14k yellow gold and genuine opal. Each stud features an oval opal cabochon claw set inside an open wire circle with each opal measuring approx. 6mm x 4mm each. Opals have an opaque white body colour with some play of colour (one opal shows more play of colour than other). Earrings measure 1.2cm long x 1.2cm wide with 9mm long posts. Comes with original matching butterfly backs that are secure.
