- marked 14K and makers mark on the back of the tongue of clasp
- necklace is constructed of a solid 14k yellow gold clasp set with one genuine pearl and attached to 2 strands of imitation pearls
- these high quality imitation pearls are on average 7.3mm in diameter, with rainbow iridescence and layers of "nacre" (coating) visible around drill holes (possibly Majorica pearls). Some even have blemishes visible. They are very deceiving even to the trained eye!
- some of the pearls closest to the clasp are yellowing with some having wear to coating
- one knotted strand is 18.25" long, with the other being 18.75" long (2 pearls more)
- one of the end caps is gold tone (likely a replacement), while the other 3 are silver tone
- pearls sit in an overlaid style when worn
- the yellow gold clasp features one 7.9mm genuine pearl that has visible blemishes
- good vintage condition circa 1960s with wear consistent with age and love
- would be beautiful for a wedding or day-to-day wear
