18K White Gold Cluster Ring
- marked with British hallmarks of; 'S&D' makers mark, crown for gold, 18 for purity, anchor for Birmingham Assay Office, and a faint 'W'?
- constructed out of solid 18k white gold with genuine sapphire and diamonds
- this classic cluster style features a central round mixed cut, dark blue sapphire weighing approx. 1.17ct (approx. 6.5mm) and held in by 8 prongs
- a halo of G-H colour, VVS-VS clarity and excellent cut round brilliant diamonds totalling 8 stones and approx. 1.25ctw surround the sapphire
- face of ring is 1.4cm long
- ring rises 8mm off finger
- ring is a size 5.5 (previous sizing mark is visible and rhodium plating is worn at the back where sizing was done)
- this ring was purchased by a client of mine's mother in England in the 1960s and comes with the original box pictured
