Vintage 835 Silver Carnelian Greek God Hermes Intaglio Ring

Vintage circa 1950s ring constructed of solid 835 grade silver and genuine carnelian. Ring features a 11.2mm x 9.3mm oval carved intaglio of a man/warrior with a winged helmet (Greek God Hermes) that is claw set into ring. There is a small chip at base of stone that isn't directly noticeable (see photos). There is also a small mark on the cheek of the mans faces that is not as matte as the rest of his face BUT it is not a chip and was carved this way. Face of the ring is 1.4cm long and rises 5.7mm off finger.
Marked 835 inside band.
Ring is a size 6 with being band slightly out of round due to being previous wear.
