Vintage circa 1920-30s money clip constructed of solid brass with silver plate. Clip depicts a fancy script initial. I may have photographed the clip upside down, but it looks like a cursive L to me, could be a cursive T if flipped the other way. Money clip measures 4.2cm long x 2.2cm wide and there is wear to silver plate along the edges of the clip.
Marked 'APOLLO SILVER CO.' on back of money clip.
- Apollo Silver Co. was founded in New York in 1885 and was succeeded by Bernard Rice's Sons c. 1899. The company made silver plated items. Bernard Rice's Sons used "Apollo Silver Co." as one of its marks.
