Vintage Chinese Export Jade Tear Drop Earrings - 14k Post Pierced Earrings - Gild Silver Filigree Dangle Stud Earrings

Chineses Export Converted Earrings
- earrings are unmarked but signed with a hand etched M.G. initial on the back of one stud
- constructed out of silver, gilt silver and jade, with 14k yellow gold posts
- much of the gilt gold has worn over the years and is mainly visible on discs
- earrings appear to have been converted from their original screw back style into pierced studs with sturdy solid 14k posts
- the stud portion of the earrings feature a 4.1mm & 4.4mm round jade cabochon bezel set into a filigree border
- the drop portion of the earrings feature a star design disc with a filigree cap below, and a 17.1mm pear shaped jade bead drop in it
- some portions of the jade drops have discolouration in crevasses
- face of studs are 8.75mm long
- drop portion is approx. 3.9cm long
- posts are 1cm long and have secure steel type material butterfly backs
- earrings have been gently cleaned with a cloth and show wear from previous wear and storage
- good vintage condition circa 1950's
